Overview
This policy explains the emails PDFZivo may send, which ones are essential, how you can manage optional emails, and our anti-spam commitment. It works together with our Privacy Policy.
Transactional and operational emails
These emails are part of providing the service. You may receive them when relevant:
- Account verification and password reset.
- Security and account notices.
- Payment success/failure, subscription renewal/expiry/cancellation.
- Invoice/receipt and AI Credit purchase/adjustment emails.
- Tool job completion/failure notices, where enabled.
- Support ticket notifications.
Because these are essential to operating your account, billing and security, they cannot be fully turned off while your account is active. They include a support/contact footer.
Optional emails and preferences
If we offer optional product-update or marketing emails, they are sent only with your consent or preference, and you can unsubscribe or manage them at any time where that option is implemented. Essential transactional, security and billing emails are not part of optional preferences. We will not send optional emails to addresses that have unsubscribed or been suppressed.
Deliverability, bounces and complaints
To protect deliverability, addresses that hard-bounce or that mark our mail as spam may be suppressed, meaning we stop sending to them. If your email repeatedly bounces, you may need to verify or update your email address to keep receiving essential account emails.
Anti-spam commitment
PDFZivo does not send spam. We do not buy, rent, scrape, or use third-party email lists. We email only people who have:
- registered an account, or requested verification or a password reset;
- started or completed a transaction, or purchased a plan or AI Credit;
- contacted us or opened a support request; or
- opted in to optional product updates, where implemented.
We rate-limit password reset, verification resend, contact and support forms; abusive signups or email abuse may be blocked; and we will not use our mail provider for spam, phishing, illegal content, misleading subject lines, or unauthorised bulk email.
