Terms of Service

By creating an account or using PDFZivo, you agree to these terms. If you are using the service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization.

PDFZivo provides online tools to convert, compress, edit, OCR and extract data from documents, plus AI document tools and business-document workflows. Features and limits vary by plan and may change as we improve the product.

• Many PDF and image tools are available without logging in, subject to limits. Guest/free usage is limited (including by IP-based limits) to keep the service fair and reliable.
• OCR is free for everyone, including guests, with limits.
• The full editor is free for logged-in users.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You may not resell, automate, or abuse the service to circumvent plan limits.

AI tools are metered using AI Credit:

• Guest users get 0 AI Credit.
• Logged-in free users get 50 AI Credit per month.
• Paid users get plan-based AI Credit.

Failed AI jobs are handled according to our current business policy. AI output can be inaccurate — review important output before relying on it. Document analysis (including summaries and tender or bank-statement analysis) is assistance only and is not legal, financial, tax or professional advice, and must not be the sole basis for any decision.

OCR is free for everyone, including guests, with limits. OCR accuracy depends on file quality, language and scan quality, and may fail for poor scans, handwriting, unsupported languages, or password-protected files. Review OCR output before relying on it. You agree to use PDFZivo only for documents you own or are authorised to process, and not to:

• upload content you do not have the right to process, or that infringes others’ rights;
• process illegal, harmful, abusive, hateful or sexually exploitative material;
• attempt to bypass plan limits, credit rules, rate limits or access controls;
• use bots, scraping or automated abuse to overload or exploit the service;
• distribute malware, breach security, or probe systems without authorisation;
• commit fraud, spam, phishing, or misuse payment, account or email features.

We may rate-limit, suspend or terminate accounts, and remove content, to protect the service and other users from abusive, automated, spam, fraudulent or illegal use.

You retain all rights to the files and data you upload. We process them only to provide the service you requested. Uploaded files are deleted automatically shortly after processing — see our privacy policy for details.

We respect intellectual property. Because the files you process are temporary and not published or hosted by us as public content, copyright concerns usually relate to how the service is used. If you believe the service is being used to infringe your rights, send a notice to [email protected] with your contact details, a description of the work, identification of the material at issue, and a good-faith statement. We review valid notices and may remove access or suspend accounts as appropriate.

Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment gateways. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel; changes take effect according to your billing cycle. We do not market truly unlimited processing — limits apply.

• The Starter plan is annual-only.
• Paid plans remove ads.
• Pricing depends on your region (India vs International); your language does not change the price or currency.

We aim to keep PDFZivo available, but tools may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. Features and limits may change as we improve the product.

By using PDFZivo you consent to receive essential transactional, security and billing emails needed to operate your account. Optional product-update or marketing emails, where offered, are opt-in and can be managed. See our Email & Anti-Spam Policy.

The service is provided “as is.” Automatic data extraction, OCR and AI output can contain errors, so you should review results before relying on them. AI and OCR features are assistance only and are not guaranteed to be accurate. Visual signatures applied within the product are visual only and are not certified or legally verified e-signatures.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PDFZivo is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits arising from your use of the service.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence, the courts at Kolkata, West Bengal, India have jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of PDFZivo.

We may update these terms as the product evolves. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
