Why Hindi needs a Hindi engine
Devanagari joins consonants into conjuncts, hangs vowel signs (matras) above and below the line, and runs a शिरोरेखा (headline) across words. Generic Latin OCR reads none of that. Selecting Hindi tells the engine to model the script correctly — the difference between usable text and noise.
