Umlauts, eszett and compounds
German meaning depends on its special characters (schon/schön are different words) and its famous compounds — Haftpflichtversicherungsbescheinigung is one word and must survive as one. The German model recognizes both correctly.
The Fraktur caveat
Modern German prints — contracts, letters, official documents, books — recognize excellently. Pre-1940s texts set in Fraktur (blackletter) are a different script entirely and recognize poorly with standard models; treat those results as drafts at best.
